The Advanced Sustainable Tourism e-learning course allows you to develop and validate your sustainable tourism skills.
As a sustainable tourism specialist, you will develop and manage sustainable tourism at an organisational level. The e-learning course consists of 6 modules, each of 1 credit point:
Local cultures and traditions
Sustainability communication
Partnerships and stakeholders
Accessibility and diversity
Product development
Assessment of societal impacts
If you have no previous knowledge of sustainable tourism, we also recommend completing the module "Basics of sustainable tourism." This module will ensure that you have sufficient basic knowledge for the Advanced Sustainable Tourism online course.
Completing each module will earn you a digital badge. After completing at least five modules, you will be awarded the Advanced Sustainable Tourism milestone badge. The badges will appear on your Open Badge Passport account.
The badges serve as a digital recognition of your mastery of sustainable tourism, which is a prerequisite for proactive and successful tourism operations.
